Join us for a look at our August 2026 stay at Lakeview Resort in Wasaga Beach, Ontario! We enjoyed a clean, well-maintained pool-view room with two beds and a convenient small kitchen. The resort’s great pool, friendly customer service, and three guest BBQs— which we used every day—made our stay especially enjoyable. The raised patio offers a fantastic view of Wasaga Beach, Georgian Bay, and beautiful evening sunsets. The resort is also just a 5-minute walk from Nancy Island Historical Site, a fascinating War of 1812 location and a must-see while visiting Wasaga Beach!

RIU Ocho Rios as a wonderful garden area where some local wildlife thrives. A walk into the gazebo overlooking a pond reveals many sizes of fish, several species of birds and many turtles. Turtles will eat straight from your hand, although watch the don’t bite you. One species of birds will take the bread you throw at it and use it as bait to catch fish.

Thank you for visiting G & D Travel. During late November 2019 we had a 5 day stay at the Ocean Vista Azul in Varadero, Cuba. After having reviewed the website and the online booking information with WestJet, we decided to opt in for the Privilege Guest option. It was well worth the small added investment in our holiday. In the tour video I point out several of the additional perks of being a Privilege guest. This review is of the room only. It was large and spacious with the wonderful privilege feature of enjoying sliding glass doors opening to our patio the overlooked the ocean.
